We believe parents deserve peace of mind.

Homeschooling is brave, beautiful work. But "what did we cover this week?" shouldn't keep you up at night. The Learning Nest exists to give back your evenings — and your records.

Our story

The Learning Nest started with a simple problem: there are wonderful free curriculums out there, but none of them tell you how it went. No grades. No attendance. No portfolio. No progress notes for your district.

So homeschool parents end up juggling printable curriculums, sticky notes, spreadsheets, and stacks of paper — hoping it adds up to "proof" at the end of the year.

We're building the home for all of it: lessons your child can actually do, grades that calculate themselves, and reports that print themselves when you need them.

Who it's for

The Learning Nest is a secular homeschool curriculum and recordkeeping platform for grades 1–6, with middle school (grades 7–8) expansion planned. We're starting small on purpose so every grade gets the care it deserves.

A flexible 180-day year

We recommend a 180-day school year (36 weeks · 5 days · 4 quarters · 2 semesters) because it's the structure most districts recognize. But your family isn't a district. You can switch to a 4-day week, go year-round, set custom start and end dates, skip holidays, add makeup days, and drag any lesson from one day to another.

The Learning Nest uses a 180-day planning model to help families organize lessons, attendance, and progress records. Families should confirm their own district and state homeschool requirements.
